Day 01: Leh

Arrive at Leh airport and transfer to the respective Hotel, booked for you. You are advised to take complete rest for the day to adapt yourself with new environment at 11,135 feet altitude. Later, in the evening visit the Leh Market, Leh Palace, known as ‘Lachen Palkhar’ and Shanti Stupa, located on a hilltop near Chanspa.  O/N Leh.

 Day 02: Leh – Sham region – Leh 124 Kms/ 5-6 Hrs

After breakfast, drive to Likir and Alchi Monasteries, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara. Hall of Fame museum (it was established as homage for the martyrs of Kargil war) and Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar & Indus Rivers). O/N Leh.

 Day 03: Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh 280 Kms/ 10-11 Hrs

After early Breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) via Changla Pass 17,350 ft, this is the third highest motorable road in the world. Pangong is the highest salt water lake in the world, shared by India and China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake. The different hues of blue and green contrast beautifully with the monotonous back drop of barren brown and grey mountains. In the afternoon drive back to Leh by the same route. O/N Leh.

 Day 04: Leh - Khardong La - Leh 78 Kms/ 3-4 Hrs

After the breakfast drive for Khardungla Pass, the World’s highest motorable road at 18380 feet. Savour the moment on the top, get some quick clicks and return to Leh. On arrival in Leh, enjoy some hot tea/ coffee/ lunch and rest for a while.  Rest of the day is at your disposal to explore the local market at one’s leisure. O/N Leh.

 Day 05: Leh to Tsomoriri Lake 240 Kms/ 7-8 Hrs

Morning after breakfast, drive to Tsomoriri Lake (it is located at Korzok in Changtang area), by crossing Chumathang (Hot Springs) along the Indus River. On your arrival check in to the camp / hotel. Rest of the day at disposal to enjoy a walk around the Lake. The pleasant beauty of the landscape around Tsomoriri is captivating and is abuzz with activity of local fauna. Tsomoriri is home of to Marmot (Himalayan Prairie dogs) and number of winged visitors from the extreme northern parts of our planet. O/N Korzok.

 Day 06: Tsomoriri – Tsokar - Taglangla – Leh 260 Kms/ 8-9 Hrs

Morning after breakfast, leave for Leh passing Puga (Sulphur Mine), Tsokar Lake, another important lake surrounded by meadows and wetland, Taklang La Pass 17,585ft, the second highest motorable road in the world. Reach Leh by evening. O/N Leh.

 Day 07: Leh

Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board flight back to destination. Journey ends with exotic memories and stories to be related once back home.
